“With roots in ancient Persian gardens, reflecting pools create a literal and metaphorical moment for reflection. Likewise, the central metallic silver circles in my works encourage you to slow down and consider yourself and your surroundings. As you move around the installation, the pools reflect different aspects of their surroundings, making for an infinitely changing viewing experience, inspiring curiosity, introspection, joy, and self-grounding. This particular artwork is best viewed at dawn or dust, or other times when the sky changes drastically in a short time.” – Chad Kouri
